Formerly the Madison Potsdamer Platz, Berlin’s Mandala Hotel didn’t go through any substantial renovations or updates along with its name change. Such were hardly necessary, given that the hotel is already firmly established as an ultra-modern, luxurious, all-suite urban temple. Room and public space decor is more sumptuous than design-boutique minimalist, with lots of dark wood and deep colors. The restaurant and lounge are local hipster focal points in and of themselves.
